
Typically, you will be required to provide us with copies of some or all of the following documents to apply for a mortgage:
- Photo identification for borrower and co-borrower
- Pay stubs from current employer covering the most recent 30 days of employment for borrower and co-borrower
- Asset statements (all pages) from banks and other depositories listed on the loan application for the most recent two months
- Personal federal tax returns (1040s), including all schedules, for the most recent two years
- W-2 and 1099 forms for the most recent two years
- Most recent mortgage statement
- Name and contact information for current landlord or mortgage holder (include mortgage loan number)
- Name and contact information for subject property insurance agent
- Property sales contract/offer and acceptance with all riders signed and dated by all parties, and copy of cancelled earnest money check (front and back)
- Social Security or Pension Benefit Award Letter for the most recent two years
- Divorce Decree, Marital Settlement Agreement, or Separation Agreement
- Bankruptcy documents, including schedule of creditors and discharge
