  1. Open your account by completing our New Account Information Form. Review our Personal Checking account options here.

    Then visit either of our branches, 1525 East 53rd Street or 1311 East 57th Street, within 30 days to fund your account, sign your signature card and present photo identification and proof of residency. Your Personal Banker will provide your account number and account documents, assist you in ordering checks and answer any questions you may have.

  1. Transfer automatic deposits and payments. Complete and send our Direct Deposit Enrollment Form to your employer's payroll department, or other payer. Or complete the Sign-Up Form for Direct Deposit of Federal Benefit Payments and mail it to the address provided on the form.

    Automatic payments may include payments for your mortgage, telephone or cell phone, insurance, subscriptions and household utilities. Complete and send our Automatic Payment Transfer Form to each merchant you authorize to automatically debit funds from your account.

  1. Close your old account. Allow time for pending transactions to clear your old account. Then, complete this Account Closing Request Form and send it to your old bank.
